FAQ
The questions schools ask before they commit
Answered plainly, including the two where the answer is no. Module-specific questions are on each feature page.
Choosing AcadiFlow
What does AcadiFlow cost?
Three plans — Starter, Growth and Institution — each priced per enrolled student and billed monthly, quarterly or yearly, with a minimum per period. Starter covers records, results, attendance and the portals; Growth adds fees, the parent portal, timetable and homework; Institution includes every feature. Prices exclude GST. Tell us your enrolment and we will quote the exact figure before you commit, rather than let you discover it at renewal.
Can we import our existing student data?
Yes. Bulk CSV import brings students in against their classes and sections along with guardian details. That is normally how a school's first session on the system starts — nobody arrives with clean data already in the right shape.
Which examination boards are supported?
CBSE, CISCE (ICSE and ISC), NIOS, the Maharashtra, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka state boards, IB, Cambridge, a university semester system, and a generic board for anything not listed. Each carries its own result format, pass rule, absence policy and grading scale.
What languages is the interface available in?
English, Hindi and Bengali. Numerals stay Latin throughout — including in the Bengali interface — because fee figures appear on receipts that families reconcile against bank statements, and banks print Latin digits.
Do parents need to install an app?
No. The parent portal runs in a browser and installs to a phone's home screen as a progressive web app if a family wants it there. Notifications are delivered in-app, by email and by web push.
Can one organisation run several campuses?
Yes. Campuses and academic sessions both sit under an organisation, which is the arrangement a trust running more than one school needs. Data stays isolated between organisations, not between campuses of the same organisation.
What happens at the end of an academic year?
Promotion runs as a bulk operation over enrolments, with a dry run first. The preview shows exactly who is promoted, who is held back and who is leaving before anything is committed — promoting a whole school is not something to discover the shape of afterwards.
Can students and parents look up results without an account?
Yes, if the school opens its public result portal. A student looks up their own result with the details the school requires. Those pages are deliberately kept out of search engines: reachable with the right admission number is a different exposure from indexed by Google.
How do we verify a certificate we have issued?
Every certificate carries a QR code pointing at a public verification page. Anyone can open it with no login and see whether that certificate is currently valid. Revocation takes effect on the next check, because the page is never cached.
Is there an API?
There is no public, documented and versioned API today. If an integration is a requirement for you, tell us what it needs to do before you commit — we would rather scope it than have you assume one exists.
Not answered here?
Ask us directly. If the answer is that we do not do something, we would rather tell you now than have you find out in your second term.
