What is specific to a CBSE school

  • CBSE Secondary rule set

    A preset for Classes 9–10 covering the result format, pass rule and absence policy, shipped rather than configured from scratch.

    CBSE does not award divisions. The preset reports grades, so report cards do not carry a field the board does not use.

Why a generic ERP struggles with CBSE

Most school software computes a percentage, compares it to a pass mark, and prints a division. That model produces a result document a CBSE school cannot use: the board reports grades, does not award divisions, and treats a compartment as a distinct outcome rather than a low score.

Will report cards show divisions?
